MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After being shutout out by American Athletic Conference foe Memphis on Saturday, the Temple men's tennis team wrapped up its trip to Tennessee with a 7-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday. The Owls move to 14-5 on the season.
Temple swept the doubles point, including a 6-0 shutout win at the third from Santiago Canete and Artem Kapshuk.
In singles, the Owls won all of their sets in straight-sets, with Florian Mayer recording a shutout at the sixth flight, taking down Myles Adams. Kapshuk recorded his team-best 13th dual victory of the season, defeating Simon Lewis at the second flight, 6-2, 6-0.
The Owls will return home on Tuesday, when they will face Philadelphia University at 10 a.m. and Coppin State at 1:00 p.m.
