PHILADELPHIA -- Temple men's crew continued the fall racing season at the 2017 Navy Day Regatta held on the Schuylkill River on Saturday. The Owls entered four boats into the event, finishing in the top nine of each event.
COLLEGIATE JV 8+
> Temple finished eighth overall in a 14 boat field.
> The Owls clocked in at 13:34.77.
OPEN COLLEGIATE 8+
> The Owls entered a pair of boats into the open eight field, finishing seventh and ninth out of 26 boats.
> Temple's "B" boat was the first to cross the line for the Owls, clocking in at 12:51.80.
> Temple's "A" boat was just off the pace, finishing in 12:58.57.
LIGHTWEIGHT 8+
> Temple finished seventh overall out of 13 lightweight eights.
> The Owls recorded a time of 13:10.18 in the race.
UP NEXT
> The Owls will race at the 2017 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta next Saturday.
