Steinsberger Earns Top-10 Finish at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Men's cross country hit the trails on Saturday at the 2017 Princeton Invitational where graduate student Marc Steinsberger took a top-10 finish in a field of 205 runners.
Keys to the Race
> Steinsberger was the Owls' top finisher at Princeton taking the No. 8 spot. The Esslingen, Germany native finished the men's 8K race in 24:17.9, a career best time.Â
> The next to cross the finish line for Temple was freshman Anton Harrsen (16th) with a time of 24:35.0
> Sophomore Kevin Lapsansky was Temple's third-best on Saturday. Lapsansky placed 33rd, completing the race in 24:47.0
> Rounding out the squad's top four was freshman Kristian Jensen (39) with a time of 24:49.4.
Race Notes
> As a team, Temple finished fifth overall out of 21 teams.
> Big 5 rivlals Penn, St. Joseph's, and La Salle finished seventh, 12th and 15th, respectively.Â
