> The Owls have four student-athletes qualified to the event -- seniors Alina Abdurakhimova
and Yana Khon
, sophomore Kristina Titova
, and freshman Oyku Boz
> Action starts on Wednesday, with two rounds of qualifying singles, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
> Thursday sees both doubles and singles action, with doubles starting at 9:00 a.m.
> The round of 64 and round of 32 will be played on Friday, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
> Saturday will include the round of 16 and quarterfinals for doubles, and the round of 16 for singles, all starting at 10:00 a.m.
> Singles quarterfinals and semifinals, along with semifinals for doubles will start at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
> Finals for both singles and doubles will be on Sunday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
> "We have four girls selected this year which is more than in years past," said Temple head coach Steve Mauro
. "I'm excited for the seniors with being their last regionals and think this group of girls has a good chance of doing well."
> "I'm hoping to play well and win my matches for my last regionals as a senior," said Abdurakhimova. "Our team has good chance of doing well this weekend. We have four girls competing this year instead of one to two in previous years."
