Steinsberger Snags Individual Title; Men's Cross Country Wins IC4A Championship

NEW YORK - Men's cross country took home the gold at the 2017 IC4A Championships on Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park with graduate student Marc Steinsberger taking the individual title in the men's 8K. The Owls closed out the season strong with five runners earning All-East honors for their performances.Â
Keys to the Race
> Steinsberger led the Owls to their fourth team win of 2017, completing the race in 25:10.4.
> The next to cross the finish line for Temple was freshman Anton Harrsen. The Denmark native finished in a time of 25:21.1 to place fifth in the field of 203 participants.Â
> Temple's No.3 runner was freshman Kristian Holm Jensen who placed tenth with a time of 25:35.2.
> Freshman Kevin Lapsansky (25:38.7) and redshirt sophomore David Fitzgerald (25:41.4) finished in 13th and 14th places, respectively.Â
