Host Drexel won the City 6 Championship, defeating 2016 champion Temple by one stroke on the final hole of the one-round tournament held at the par-70, 6,470-yard course Union League Golf Club at Torresdale course Saturday.
Keys to the Match
> Drexel's Aaron Fricke birdied the 18th
hole to finish with a one-under 69 to win the overall title and lift the Dragons to team title.

placed second overall with an even-par 70 while senior Mark Farley
, competing in his first tournament of the fall season, had his best career finish, placing third with a one-over 71.
> Senior Bobby Firth
and junior Gary McCabe
tied for ninth overall with four-over 74s. It was the highest finish for Firth and best placement for McCabe since his freshman campaign.
> Drexel posted an eight-over 288 score to win the tournament.
