Kaci Martir Added to Incoming Gymnastics Class

PHILADELPHIA – Head coach Umme Salim-Beasley has announced the commitment of Kaci Martir for the incoming class of women's gymnastics student-athletes. Martir hails from Fairfield, Ohio and joins a group of four previous commits set to begin in August of this year.

The senior at Lakota West High School will come to Temple after training at the nationally-renowned Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy under head coach Whitney Snowden, Rachel Tracy Gardner and Ashley Priess.

In her 2016 campaign, Martir was a vault silver medalist at the Region 5 Level 10 Championships and qualified to J.O Nationals as a Region 5 alternate.

In 2015, Martir was voted Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy's Most Valuable Athlete after posting her third-consecutive level 9 state vault title. She was also a regional vault champion in 2015 and 2014.

The class of 2021 now includes Martir along with Delaney Garin (Capital), Erica Fuchs (Parkettes), Jordyn Oster (Harford), and Monica Servidio (Action).
