Temple Hosts National Girls & Women in Sports Day on April 18

PHILADELPHIA -- For the fifth straight year, the Temple University Athletics Department will host a National Girls and Women in Sports Day event. Temple will welcome local students to the TUÂ Pavilion on April 18 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to students in grades eight and below. Temple student-athletes will run clinics with participants and local businesses have donated giveaways. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held on the third floor of 1800 N. Broad Street (Pearson-McGonigle Hall).
This year marks the 31st anniversary of annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a national observance celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women and girls in sports.
