Temple football has a tradition of giving out the single-digit jerseys to the toughest members of the team. To be awarded one of those coveted numbers, one has to be Temple TUFF – to display the highest character and leadership on and off the field.
At Temple football's Champions Dinner, held at the Independence Mall Visitors Center on the eve of Saturday's Cherry & White Game, Delvon Randall was awarded the #2 jersey, with the previous bearer - Avery Williams - on hand for the presentation.
