PHILADELPHIA - In a thrilling match that went into double overtime, Temple (1-3-0) suffered a tough loss 2-1 to Lehigh (2-0-1). The Owls were aggressive the entire night attempting a season-high 22 shots.  After both teams scored their first goals in the second half, the match was back and forth the rest of the game until the 106th minute when Lehigh's Maggie Wadsworth scored the game winning goal.
 
Keys to the Match
 
> The Owls defense was impressive in the first half and only allowed the Mountain Hawks to get off one shot.
 
> The scoreless streak was broken in the 51st minute when Lehigh's Lisa Kestelboym scored off an assist from Adrian Vitello.
 
> The Owls answered right back in the 77th minute when Kerri McGinley headed her second goal of the season off a corner from Kayla Cunningham.
 
> The game ended in the second overtime period when Wadsworth scored off an assist from Clare Severe.
 
Match Notes
 
> McGinley has scored her first two career goals in the Owls opening four games and is now the team's leader in goals (2) and points (4).
 
> Cunningham is now the team leader in assists (2) and both of her assists have come off corners. Three out of the Owls' four goals have now come from assists.
 
> The Owls showed an aggressive style of play and outshot the Mountain Hawks 22-18 in the match.
 
> For the third time this season, Temple played 19 players, continuing to show the tremendous depth that the team has.
