Football's Rock Ya-Sin Selected to Play in the 2019 Reese's Senior Bowl

PHILADELPHIA - Temple cornerback Rock Ya-Sin has been selected to play in the 2019 Reese's Senior Bowl. Ya-Sin is in the first round of players selected as there will be more rounds announced at later dates. The two teams playing are divided by North and South. The Reese's Senior Bowl will be held in Mobile, Alabama at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on January 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on NFL Network.
Ya-Sin is a senior transfer from Presbyterian College and is in his first season with the Owls. He earned the single-digit #6 jersey in the Summer 2018 and has been a crucial leader for the #DarkSide. So far this season, Ya-Sin has accumulated 44 tackles, two TFLs, two interceptions, and 12 pass breakups. He is the only cornerback in the country to be targeted over 50 times and not let up a reception of at least 20 yards. Ya-Sin has transitioned from an FCS cornerback to an NFL prospect in less than a year.
