PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's soccer team opens its 2018 Spring Schedule this Friday against Rutgers. The match, which kicks off at 7 pm, will be played at the PDA South Soccer Complex at 301 Bridge Street in Westampton, N.J.
Â
The Rutgers match is one of five competition dates for the Owls this spring. Temple will host Delaware (March 17, 11 am) and Saint Joseph's (April 6, 6 pm) at the Temple Sports Complex while the team will travel to Lafayette on April 15 for a 1 pm match with the Leopards.Â
Â
The Owls will conclude their Spring Season on April 21 at the Philly City Six Tournament. This year's tournament will be held at the Villanova University Soccer Complex with times and opponents to be announced at a later date.
Â
"We put together a very competitive schedule this spring and I am looking forward to watching our players respond to the many challenges they will face in each game," said Temple women's soccer coach Seamus O'Connor. 'The players have made a lot of sacrifices this off-season and they have had a tremendously positive attitude. This difficult schedule of spring games will allow us to start to develop how our team will look like in the fall."Â
