Temple Hosts the Murphy Cup on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple men's crew and women's rowing teams will host the 36th annual Murphy Cup Regatta on Saturday at the Schuylkill River.
FORMAT
> The event will include heats in the morning, starting at 9:00 a.m. and finals in the afternoon, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

WOMEN'S
> Fresh off a strong season opener against UNC and Boston College, the Owls will enter seven events on Saturday.
> Temple will field five varsity boats, including the varsity eight, second varsity eight, third varsity eight, varsity four, and second varsity four.
> The Owls' novices will compete in the novice eight and novice four races.
MEN'S
> After winning gold in both the heavyweight and lightweight eight races at the San Diego Crew Classic last weekend, the Owls will make their Schuylkil debut.
> Temple will race in the varsity eight, second varsity eight, and third varsity eight races.
> On the novice side, the Owls will field an eight and a four.

> Due to an ongoing landscaping project, parking at the Temple boathouse will be LIMITED.
