PHILADELPHIA - The women's tennis team fell behind early again today and couldn't fight its way back. After dropping the doubles point to open the match, the Owls then lost the first two singles matches of the afternoon in straight sets to the crosstown rival Drexel Dragons. Seniors Rimpledeep Kaur and Yana Khon rallied to win points for Temple in the third and fifth singles matches, but the Owls' comeback efforts fell short as Drexel took the remaining singles points to claim the 5-2 victory.

The Owls are now 6-7 on the season and will look to rebound on Friday, April 6 at noon against La Salle at Legacy Tennis Center.
