Women's Tennis Closes Regular Season With Fourth Straight Win

PHILADELPHIA - The women's tennis continued its strong play and extended its winning streak to four matches with today's 7-0 win over Fairleigh Dickinson at Penn Tennis Center.

The four seniors who were honored before the match as a part of Senior Day - Yana Khon, Rimpledeep Kaur, Monet Stuckey-Willis, and Alina Abdurakhimova - led the way for the Owls, each winning their respective singles matches in straight sets.

"It was a great day for the women's tennis team - the seniors played extremely well," said head coach Steve Mauro. "I'm really happy for the graduating seniors, they have been such a pleasure to coach and all of them I'm sure will be very successful in the future."

The Owls will travel to Dallas on Tuesday for the American Athletic Conference Championship. Opponents and seeding will be announced Monday afternoon.
