Owl Club Golf Outing Returns June 1

PHILADELPHIA – For the 33rd consecutive year, the Temple Owl Club will celebrate Temple pride and help kick off the summer with the Annual Temple Owl Club Golf Classic, taking place on Friday, June 1st. This year's event will be held at The 1912 Club—formerly the Plymouth Country Club—which is under the new ownership of Temple golf coach Brian Quinn. The annual event brings together supporters, fans and friends of Temple University for a day of fun supporting the Temple Owls.

Participating golfers will be treated to a custom fitting by Maui Jim Sunglasses and will walk away with a pair of their choice, as part of the golfer welcome package. In addition to playing, there are sponsorship opportunities available, ranging from hole sponsorships at $150, to presenting sponsor at $10,000. The event is put on as one of the department's major fundraisers of the year, with net proceeds supporting student-athlete resources.

The outing begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun and ends with a 2:30 p.m. lunch reception featuring a coaches panel, student-athlete reflection and golf awards presentation.  Guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet with Athletic Director Dr. Patrick Kraft, head coaches, Temple student-athletes and administrators.
