NEW YORK - The men's tennis team came up short on the road today. The Owls (11-8) fell to St. John's 5-2 in an afternoon match in Queens that was played without injured starters Thomas Sevel and Uladzimir Dorash. Freshman Mark Wallner and sophomore Juan Araoz picked up points in the second and sixth singles singles contests for the Owls in a match otherwise dominated by the Red Storm.

The group will look to bounce back against Memphis next Saturday in the final conference match before the American Athletic Conference Championship in Dallas April 19-22.
