Women's Rowing has Four Named National Scholar-Athletes

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's rowing team has four representatives on the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athlete award list. Juniors Allie Nussbaum, Ciara O'Sullivan, Danielle Ober, and Mariel Tucker were honored.
Nussbaum, O'Sullivan, and Ober are all repeat selections to the national team, while Tucker makes her first appearance as a National Scholar Athlete.
To be eligible for the CRCA National Scholar-Athlete honor, student-athletes were required to have a 3.5 cumulative GPA, be in their second, third or fourth year of eligibility and, rowed in her institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boat for a minimum of 75 percent of the current spring races or race in a conference regatta.
