8.27.18 | Women's Cross Country
PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has released its preseason rankings, and the Temple Women's Cross Country team has been featured at a program high No. 9 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The women's cross country team earned this well-deserved ranking after finishing 10th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet in 2017, returning all five of their top runners from the meet this season. It also places them four spots higher than this time last year when they received the No. 13 spot in the 2017 preseason polls.
The Owls look to open their 2018 season this Friday, August 31st at the Belmont Plateau where they will host the Temple Invitational.
