Temple Athletics Launches New App with Reward Features

PHILADELPHIA - Temple Athletics launched a new app for its OwlSports.com website that will not only provide Owl fans information on the department's 19 varsity sports, but reward fans for their loyalty.
The app features all of the information found on the department's website from team schedules, news releases, videos, photo galleries, etc., and allows fans to earn rewards for coming and checking into games, participating in challenges and trivia, and posting in the fan stream and having other members 'like' their photos. The rewards earned can be used to earn prizes such as gift cards, game tickets and team apparel.
Fans who download the OwlSports app in the month of February and register for an account will be entered to win weekly prizes. Fans who had already created an account prior to February will also be entered to win.
Weekly winners will be chosen every Friday (2/8, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1) by a random selection generator on the Bleachr site.
