Women’s Tennis Blanks La Salle, 7-0, on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's tennis (12-6, 0-3 AAC) completed its regular season home slate in style, sweeping La Salle 7-0 at the TU Pavilion on Thursday morning. 
 
Notes
> Temple won the doubles point, as the pairs of Alice Patch and Oyku Boz at first doubles and Kristina Titova and Stefaniya Surikova at second doubles both defeated their opponents, 6-1.
> The Owls did not drop a set in singles, winning all six contests. Victories from Oleksandra Doroshenko in the No. 3 spot and Chunan Xiang in the No. 2 spot put the Owls up 3-0 on the Explorers.
> Ruoyu Chen and Yining Tian downed their opponents at first and fourth singles, respectively, and Boz rounded out the Owls win with a victory in the No. 5 spot.

> "It was a great day for Temple tennis, as we had an opportunity to honor our graduating seniors," said head coach Steve Mauro. "I'm proud of the way they have performed and the effort that they have given all year. They are a great bunch of seniors and I'm sure that they will go on to do great things in the future."
