Temple Hosts Cherry & White Fan Fest

PHILADELPHIA – Temple closed out its final practice of the 2019 spring with the Cherry & White Fan Fest in front of a sun-soaked crowd at the Temple Sports Complex.

Owl Nation descended on the home field of Temple's outdoor Olympic sports at Broad and Masters Street. Fans were treated to a Kids Zone featuring inflatable games and prizes, trackless car ride, a photo booth, a dunk tank, Coca-Cola sampling station, a firetruck display, Stella and friends from the Elmwood Park Zoo, face painters, and more!  Following the practice, fans were be able to receive free schedule posters and autographs from the 2019 Temple Owls.

The Owls practiced 15 times over the past five weeks under the watchful eye of first-year head coach Rod Carey. Carey came to Temple from Northern Illinois in January. The players will return to the practice field in August as they prepare for the 2019 season. Opening day will be on Saturday, August 31, when the Owls host Bucknell at Lincoln Financial Field.

Following the practice Carey addressed the media along with LB Shaun Bradley, RB Jager Gardner, DE Quincy Roche, LB Chapelle Russell, WR Isaiah Wright, and TE Kenny Yeboah.
