CINCINNATI - After looking strong early on with a 4-0 lead, Temple lacrosse (4-9, 1-2) struggled to hold onto its momentum despite a season-high 14 saves by junior goalkeeper Maryn Lowell. Ultimately, Cincinnati (9-5, 3-0) scored four of the final five goals and beat the Owls, 12-9.

Game Summary
> Cincinnati had 39 total shots to Temple's 18, but the Owls put 15 of theirs on goal.
> Lowell made a season-high 14 saves for Temple, but the Owls turned the ball over 22 times while the Bearcats committed just 11 turnovers.
> Draw controls also heavily favored Cincinnati as the Bearcats recorded 15 to Temple's eight.
> The Owls jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 15 minutes with goals from four different players, but Cincinnati closed out the first half on a 6-1 run and led 6-5 at halftime.
> After trading goals for the opening half of the second period, the teams were tied for the third time at 8-8 with 17:46 remaining, but the Bearcats again used a big run, 4-1 to close out the game and seal the victory.

Individual Highlights
> Sophomore Jen Rodzewich notched her first hat trick of the season and second of her career with three goals to lead Temple.
> Junior Maddie Gebert scored two goals, while sophomore Bridget Whitaker tallied two assists.
> Also scoring for Temple were senior Amber Lambeth and juniors Olivia Thompson and Meghan Hoffman.
> Thompson notched one assist, as did freshman Gabrielle Kirsch.
> Lambeth led the Owls with four draw controls and also caused two turnovers. Lowell also recorded two caused turnovers and five ground balls to go with her 14 saves.
