CHERRY HILL, N.J. -- The Temple lightweight crew team wrapped up action at the two-day Knecht Cup on Sunday at the Cooper River. The Owls' event was highlighted by a bronze medal in the second varsity eight race.

Lightweight Varsity Eight
> Temple's top lightweight boat made the most of its disappointment from yesterday by winning the petite final in the heavyweight varsity eight race.
> The Owls win in 6:09.31 to defeat boats from Ithaca, Army, UNC, UConn, and Delaware.

Lightweight Second Varsity Eight
> Temple's second varsity boat grabbed a bronze medal in a tight race.
> The Owls clocked in at 6:14.30 to finish behind a pair of boats from Delaware, but ahead of Mercyhurst, Michigan, and Ithaca.
