Morgan Morocco Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA– Senior forward Morgan Morocco has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her offensive efforts in two matches this past week.
Morocco was key to the Owls' offensive attack in their matches last week against UMBC and Sacred Heart. The senior scored Temple's first goal of the season in its 3-1 win over UMBC on Thursday. She added to her strong showing with an assist on the Cherry and White's goal against Sacred Heart on Sunday. She is tied with fellow forward Gabriela Johnson for the most points (3) on the team.
Next up, Temple will play at the Temple Sports Complex for the first time this season on Thursday, Sept. 5 as the Owls host the Lehigh Mountain Hawks. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
