Rob Silk Joins Owl Club Staff as Assistant Director of Development

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple University alumni Rob Silk is the newest addition to the Owl Club staff, joining the department asĀ Assistant Director of Development in January.
"We are excited to welcome Rob back home to Broad Street," said Adam Miller,Ā Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development.Ā "As a Temple graduate, former men's crew student-athlete and longtime supporter of Temple Athletics he will hit the ground running. With his passion and drive, Rob will be a tremendous asset to our team. Ā He will help us continue to ensure our student-athletes have the resources they need to be successful in the classroom, in the community and in their respective sports."
In his new role,Ā RobĀ will be responsible for soliciting and securing leadership level annual gifts to support the mission of the University and Athletics Department.Ā
"I'm thrilled to be working at Temple University," said Silk. "It feels like I'm back home. I look forward to working with Temple's loyal supporters to continue to create an outstanding experience for all of our student-athletes."
A longtime supporter of Temple, Silk served asĀ chair of the Owl Club Legends Society and a member of the Acres of Diamonds Gala Committee. He has 30 years of workforce experience, serving as the Vice President and Founding Partner of a successful multi-million dollar small business.Ā
Silk is a 1988 graduate of Temple with a degree in business. A four-year member of the Temple crew team, Owl boats won four-straight Dad Vail Regatta heavyweight eight titles in his career.Ā
