Change to Temple Men’s Basketball Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Due to Covid-related issues that have impacted the Temple Men's Basketball program during the 2020-21 preseason, the Owls will play just its opener against Virginia Tech at the Air Force Reserve Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament on Nov. 28. Temple was scheduled to play Rhode Island on Nov. 29 in the final game of the tournament held at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, but instead San Francisco will take the Owls' place in the contest.
It is the second game affected due to the team's preseason Covid issues, which include multiple shutdowns due to quarantines over the past six weeks. Temple's home opener against NJIT, slated for Nov. 25, was postponed. That contest is expected to be scheduled for a later date.
