Men's Basketball Freshman Jahlil White Sidelined

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University freshman guard Jahlil White had successful surgery for a meniscus tear in his left knee on Tuesday (Nov.3). The surgery was performed by Temple's team physician, Dr. Milo Sewards, at Temple University Hospital.
White, who suffered the knee injury at practice on October 24, is expected to make a full recovery. He will likely be sidelined for two to three months.
A third team All-State performer as senior at Wildwood Catholic, White averaged 16.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game, helping the Crusaders win a third straight Cape-Atlantic League Tournament title and the South Jersey, Non-Public B crown - their first sectional title since 2007. He also averaged 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3assists and 4.3 steals in the CAL Tournament.
