Quinton Rose Named NABC First Team All-District

PHILADELPHIA – Temple senior guard Quinton Rose has been named to the 2019-20 NABC Division I All-District 24 First Team. The teams are selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC.
A team co-captain, Rose led Temple in scoring (16.4 ppg/2nd AAC), assists (3.5 apg/9th AAC) and steals (2.0 spg/3rd) and was the only player in the American Athletic Conference to rank among the Top 10 in all three statistical categories. Rose, who was selected to the all-AAC Second Team, also became the AAC's all-time leader in points (1,860), steals (231) and field goals made (675) during the 2019-20 season.
The Rochester, N.Y. native finished his career sixth on Temple's all-time scoring list and seventh on the all-time steals list with 231. Rose also is just the fourth Temple player to have over 1500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals in his Temple career. He ended his four years at Temple with 1860 points, 552 rebounds, 325 assists and 231 steals, joining Mark Macon (2609 pts, 700 rebs, 352 asts, 281 stls), Mardy Collins (1919 pts, 569 rebs, 398 asts, 290 stls) and Mark Tyndale (1729 pts, 733 rebs, 377 asts, 201 stls) in this elite all-around group.
