
Senior Spotlight: Julia Ryan, Lacrosse

A four-year member of the Owls, Julia Ryan started in all nine games of 2020. She has scored 17 career goals on 48 shots, 36 of which were on target. A three-time honor roll recipient, the Princeton, N.J. native has recorded 22 ground balls and five caused turnovers in her career. Ryan will graduate in May with a degree in international business.
Owlsports.com caught up with Ryan as she finishes her final semester at Temple.

In the book of your life, what’s the title of the Temple chapter? "Cherry is the New Black"

What’s the best part about being a member of the lacrosse team at Temple/what will you miss the most? The best part about being a member of the lacrosse team is the parent support in the form of post-game hugs and tailgate food.

What is your favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple? The immense amount of all-around support - from the academic advising staff to high fives from the security guards at TSC before games.

If you could give advice to your freshman year self, what would it be? Call your parents, eat more vegetables, and say thank you to everyone for everything.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Happy and healthy is cliche, but especially pertinent right now.
