Senior Spotlight: Lizzie Frederick, Lacrosse

A four-year member of the Owls, Lizzie Frederick medically retired prior to the beginning of the 2020 season. Voted one of the team captains for the season, Frederick has battled an injury for the majority of her career in cherry and white. A Rehoboth Beach, Del. native, she is a three-time honor roll recipient and appeared in 18 games on Broad Street. Frederick will graduate in May with a degree in speech, language, and hearing science.
Owlsports.com caught up with Frederick as she finishes her final semester at Temple.
In the book of your life, what’s the title of the Temple chapter? "Walker Texas Ranger."
What’s the best part about being a member of the lacrosse team at Temple/what will you miss the most? Being surrounded by strong, funny, and smart women who show endless support and loyalty.
What is your favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple? Getting to spend every day with my best friends and teammates
If you could give advice to your freshman year self, what would it be? Take every opportunity you get and make the most of it.
Where do you see yourself in five years? Honestly, I have no idea. I will hopefully have a job as a speech pathologist living somewhere happily.

I'd like to thank all the athletic trainers I had: Karin Dowen, Tara Hannings, and especially Kelsie Osato for allowing me to play the game as long as they could.
