Senior Spotlight: Kerry Plunkett, Fencing

4/27/2020

A four-year member of the Owls, Kerry Plunkett ended her time in cherry and white with a career record 235-90 in dual play to set the program record in all-time sabre wins, tying with fellow senior Malia Hee. She represented the Owls at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional, placing fifth to qualify for the NCAA Championships for the fourth year in a row. The West Linn, Ore. native is one of a handful of Owls to qualify for the NCAA Championships in all four years on Broad Street. Plunkett will graduate in May with a degree in kinesiology.

Owlsports.com caught up with Plunkett as she finishes her final semester at Temple.

I want to thank Dr. Nikki Franke and the amazing women of Temple fencing, as well as Charles Randal for his everlasting support. And obviously, thanks to my family.
