
Senior Spotlight: Olivia Thompson, Lacrosse

A four-year member of the Owls, Olivia Thompson has scored 74 career goals including two hat tricks this season. She ranked fifth on the team in shots with 26, and was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll in February. The Eldersburg, Md. native ended her career in cherry and white with 37 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, and four draw controls. Thompson will graduate in May with a degree in communication studies.
Owlsports.com caught up with Thompson as she finishes her final semester at Temple.

In the book of your life, what’s the title of the Temple chapter? "Smile."

What’s the best part about being a member of the lacrosse team at Temple/what will you miss the most? Meeting great people and lifelong friends. I will miss playing lacrosse and being surrounded by my friends everyday.

What is your favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple? My favorite memory of being a student-athlete is being able to compete on a daily basis and try to make each year better than the last.

If you could give advice to your freshman year self, what would it be? My advice to my freshman self is to enjoy every moment.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years I see myself still talking to my teammates and helping grow the sport by coaching younger players.
