In the book of your life, what’s the title of the Temple chapter? In the book of my life, the title of the Temple chapter would be "The Best Times."

What’s the best part about being a member of the tennis team at Temple/what will you miss the most? The best part of being a member of the tennis team at Temple is that you become part of a family where everyone has very different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs but yet we are all united. What I will miss the most is going to be when I was on-court playing matches and looking over at the sidelines to see all my teammates fighting alongside me with the same goal of winning.

What is your favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple? My favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple is all the team trips that we had together.

If you could give advice to your freshman year self, what would it be? I would definitely tell my freshman year self to take more chances and enjoy every single moment because it really goes by fast.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see myself working as a marketer/promoter in the entertainment industry.

I would like to thank my family who's always been there by my side supporting me in everything I wanted to do. Thank you to all of my previous coaches, especially Albert, my head coach back home, that made me start playing tennis again after I had retired; he became my mentor and helped me develop my game and my character. Also, I would like to thank all the people at Temple who helped me have the best experience of my life. To all of the fitness coaches, Liz who always provided us with the best gear, athletic trainers that helped me with my injuries, academic advisors, and many more people who are always working behind the scenes in order to make the student-athlete experience the best it can possibly be. Finally, I would like to thank Coach Mauro and Coach Freddy, who gave me the opportunity to join this amazing program, for their incredible support in my journey at Temple, and for all of the life advice that they gave me that I will remember forever.Paolo Cucalon, Temple Men's Tennis Class of 2020
