No Temple Fans to Attend Games at Lincoln Financial Field Until Further Notice

We hope that you and your family are doing well during this challenging time. Thank you so much for your patience over these last five months as we navigated through unchartered territory related to fan attendance policies. While we eagerly anticipate the 2020 Temple Football season and watching our Owls compete for an American Athletic Conference Championship, as you may have heard yesterday, it was announced that the City and State will unfortunately preclude fans from being in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field until further notice. We support these officials who have had to make tough decisions to ensure safety for everyone given the current health climate.

With our first home game currently scheduled for October 17, we will remain in communication with the appropriate agencies over the next month and continue to explore possible fan attendance for the upcoming season.

As a reminder, at any time you may take advantage of one of the below options as part of our 2020 season ticket holder assurance policy:

Receive a full refund of money paid towards season tickets.
Receive a credit on your account to be used towards 2021 season tickets.
Donate/transfer the money already paid towards season tickets (or whatever amount you are comfortable with) to the Temple Owl Club. A portion of your donation may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax professional.

We certainly understand that you and your family may have been impacted financially over the last five months due to COVID-19. Similarly, as you can imagine, there are significant financial challenges and uncertainty facing the Athletic Department. Now more than ever before, your support is vital in mitigating the impact of COVID-19 on the future of Temple Athletics and our student-athletes. As we continue to provide a life-changing student-athlete experience for the young women and men who wear the Cherry and White, we hope you will consider this donation option.
