Dunn, Forrester Earn Weekly Conference Honors

PHILADELPHIA – Redshirt freshman guard Damian Dunn has been named the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week while junior forward Jake Forrester was named to the AAC's Honor Roll for the week ending January 17.
Dunn, who was also selected as the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week, averaged 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, and went 20-of-27 (74.1%) from the line in a 2-1 week for the Owls. The Kinston, N.C. native led the Owls in scoring in all three games, scoring career-highs of 20 points in wins over UCF (Jan. 14) and at Tulane (Jan. 16).
Forrester, who recorded his first double-double of the season (15 points, 10 rebounds) in a win at Tulane Saturday, averaged 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Cherry and White last week.
Temple (3-3, 2-3 AAC) next hosts Cincinnati (3-7, 1-4 AAC) Wednesday (9 pm/ESPN2/1210 AM WPHT).
