Men's Basketball to Host #8 Houston on CBS Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's basketball will host #8 Houston this Saturday at noon on CBS. The game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 10, but was moved by the American Athletic Conference as part of a pair of changes to the men's basketball schedule.
The AAC announced that the men's basketball game between Cincinnati and Houston scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 cases and the ensuing contact tracing of student-athletes at Cincinnati. Rescheduling information has yet to be determined.
This will be the 45th time that Temple men's basketball has appeared on CBS, but just the eighth time the network has broadcast the Owls during the regular season. The last time Temple appeared on CBS was at Wisconsin on December 15, 2015.
This will also be just the second time that CBS has broadcast a Temple game from the Liacouras Center. The other appearance was the Owls' regular season finale against #21/19 VCU on March 10, 2013. Temple won that contest in front of a sellout crowd, 84-76.
The Owls (3-3, 2-3 AAC) opened their conference slate at Houston (11-1, 6-1 AAC) on Dec. 22 with the Cougars winning that contest, 76-50.
