PHILADELPHIA - Silver Waves Media named its Top Assistant Athletic Directors and Temple's Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director, Jessica Reo, is among those honored. Reo was one of 84 college administrators to be recognized.

To be considered for this list one must be currently employed by an NCAA Division I school and not considered the head Athletic Director. Silver Waves Media compiled the list after months of research and consulting with coaches, presidents, search firms and numerous influencers in the college sports industry.

"I appreciate the support that I receive on a regular basis from so many different friends, peers, supervisors and staff that I work with every day," said Reo. "Thank you to whomever feels this way about me."

Reo is a veteran athletics administrator with 16 years on D1 senior staffs. She came to Temple in August, 2019, to serve as executive senior associate athletic director/senior women's administrator. Since then, she has also taken the lead role for Covid-19 return to participation protocols.

"What a tremendous honor for Jess," said Fran Dunphy, Temple's Acting Director of Athletics. "She truly deserves this recognition for her hard work and leadership, which was certainly on display with the unforeseen challenges over the past year."

Prior to Temple, Reo was responsible for athletic compliance, student-athlete programming and oversight of the Student-Athlete Leadership Council at Florida International. Reo also worked at UCF where she represented UCF in conference dealings pertaining to scheduling, championships and legislation. She also served as UCF's liaison for gender equity and Title IX issues. Reo, who represented UCF on multiple NCAA Committees during her tenure, was recognized in 2015 as one of the Top 10 Senior Women Administrators in all of college athletics by CollegeAD.org.

Two former members of the Temple Athletic Department were also recognized on this list. SMU senior associate athletic director, Lauren Adee, and Syracuse senior deputy athletic director, Herman Frazier. The full list can be found here.
