> Emily Kavanaugh looked to tie the match up in the 16th minute but her shot would be out left.
> Emma Wilkins came in for Kavanaugh and tried to settle the score again with a shot in the 36th minute, but East Carolina's Maeve English was there with the save.
> Defenders Arryana Daniels and Marissa DiGenova tried one last time to rally the Owls before halftime with two shots on goal, but Temple would go into the half scoreless.
> The Pirates started the second half with a strong showing as they fired two shots on goal, but one would find the hands of Stablein and the other out top.
> The difference maker came in the 61st minute as freshman Róisín McGovern picked up her first goal as an Owl and the equalizer of the game off a corner kick by Lexy Endres.
> With momentum going, Gabriella Johnson looked to give the Owls' the lead in the 66th minute, but Maeve would come up with the save.
