After Three-Week Break, Golf Returns to Competition at Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – After a three-week layoff, Temple Golf will take part in the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate this Monday and Tuesday at the par-70, 6,600-yard Golden Horseshoe Gold Course.  The two-day, 54-hole tournament hosted by William & Mary will feature 16 teams.
Previewing the Owls
> Temple, which placed ninth at the Cleveland Golf Intercollegiate in its last tournament (Mar. 8-9), has been able to get in some much-needed work on the course over the past 21 days
> Junior Conor McGrath topped the Owls in each of the team's first two tournaments, and averages 73.3 strokes per round. He turned in his best round of the season, a two-under 68, at the second round of the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate.
> McGrath will be joined in Temple's starting lineup by senior Dawson Anders (76.3 spr.), senior transfer Peter Bradbeer (75.3 spr.), sophomore Graham Chase (77.0 spr) and junior Buddy Hansen (76.0 spr.).

> Besides host William & Mary, the field is comprised of Delaware, Drexel, George Washington, Georgetown, Howard, Longwood, Old Dominion, Radford, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, St. Francis (Pa.), Saint Joseph's, VCU and Washington & Lee.
