Mastropietro Earns AAC Honors for Third Straight Week

IRVING, Texas - After Wednesday's 19-11 loss to the Drexel Dragons, sophomore Belle Mastropietro has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week ending March 8th. This is the third straight week that Mastropietro has been honored by the AAC after winning Midfielder of the Week twice in a row to open the season.
Mastropietro continued her fantastic season on Wednesday. The sophomore led all Temple players and tied for the game lead with four goals against the Dragons. She also tied for the game lead with eight shot attempts and led all players with seven shots on goal. She also added three draw controls, caused two turnovers, and picked up four ground balls.
The Owls will play game three of a six-game homestand with a visit from No.11 Towson on Wednesday, Mar. 10. The game is set to begin at 3 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
