Women's Tennis to Conclude Regular Season at FAU

PHILADELPHIA - It's a competition of the Owls as Temple women's tennis wraps up its regular season play against Florida Atlantic University (FAU) this Monday, Apr. 19 at 2 p.m. The women then travel to Lake Nona, Fla. as the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championships begin on Wednesday, Apr. 22. 

The Owls
> The Owls currently sit at 9-2, with the match against FAU wrapping up regular season play. 
> Last time out, the team defeated the Bucknell Bisons, 6-1, after securing the doubles point and winning five of six singles matches.
> Vineetha Mummadi and Oleksandra Doroshenko are tied for the best singles record on the team, racking up an incredible record of 10-1.
> In doubles, the team of Ling Hsuan Wei and Sena Takebe lead with a record of 6-3, having played the most bouts together this season.
 
Scouting FAU
> FAU is led by Caroline Wheelen who assumed the head coach position during the summer of 2019.
> The Owls currently boast a record of 8-6, having lost to the University of Miami, 1-6, last time out.
> Natalia Boltinskaya leads for the Owls with a record of 8-5, having played eight matches at the No. 1 position.
> In team play, the doubles pairing of Radka Buzkova and Katerina Filip lead with a record of 4-2.
