Mastropietro Named to Final AAC Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas- After splitting two games against Vanderbilt this weekend, midfielder Belle Mastropietro has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll. For Mastropietro, it is the fourth time she has been honored with a weekly award this season.
Mastropietro built on her momentum from last week after missing a pair of games against Cincinnati. The midfielder was dynamic Friday, playing a key role in the Owls' comeback with her three goals and two assists. She also picked up two ground balls and controlled two draws. On Sunday she was a standout in the Owls' loss, the sophomore netted two goals, Mastropietro picked up three ground balls in addition to causing a turnover and winning three draw controls.
The Owls will be back in two weeks for the American conference tournament. They will face off against Vanderbilt for the third straight match. The game has an approximate start time of 6 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
