2021 Kickoff Promotions

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University Football team can be seen taking part in the following promotional activities leading up to the 2021 season. Many members of the team and coaching staff will be on hand for these activities along with the spirit squad and mascot.
Sunday, July 25
3:00–5:00pm
Cooking for the Community (1001 W. Diamond St., Philadelphia, PA)
In a joint effort by Temple Football and the Temple University Police, the grills will be fired up and BBQ will be served to community members residing in the neighborhood surrounding Edberg-Olson Hall.
Wednesday, July 28
12:00–1:00pm
Reading Terminal Market (51 N. 12th St., Philadelphia, PA)
Eat with the Owls – Temple football team and spirit squad members will work the counters and serve food to patrons at Philadelphia's iconic eatery. Bassett's Ice Cream, Beck's Cajun Café, Beiler's Bakery, Flying Monkey Bakery, Fox & Son's Fancy Corndogs, Giunta's Prime Shop, Hershel's East Side Deli, Kamal's Middle Eastern Specialties, Pennsylvania General Store, Profi's Creperie, Spataro's Cheesesteaks, Sweet T's Bakery, Tambayan, The Head Nut, are among the list of participating vendors. Fans wearing Temple gear will receive various food discounts.
The 2021 Temple Owls open the season on September 2, when they travel to Rutgers for a primetime game. The Owls begin their home schedule at Lincoln Financial Field hosting Boston College on Saturday, September 18.
