Lacrosse Honored as Academic Merit Squad

NORTHBOROUGH, Ma.- The Temple lacrosse team has been honored as a 2021 Academic Merit Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. 285 programs were honored across all levels of women's lacrosse. 13 members of the Temple lacrosse team were also named to the IWCLA Division I Academic Honor Roll.

The Owls earned a team GPA of 3.59, teams must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year in order to be named an Academic Merit squad. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student. They must also have a cumulative GPA above 3.5.
