Temple Athletics Nondiscrimination Policy
In alignment with the Temple University Nondiscrimination Policy, the Temple University Athletic Department does not tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment in the workplace or its programs or events. As an athletics department that respects and celebrates inclusion, Temple Athletics prohibits discrimination based on an individual's age, color, disability, marital status, national or ethnic origin, race, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information or veteran status.Â
Sexual Misconduct Policy for Student-Athletes
Consistent with the Temple University Code of Conduct and prevailing criminal laws, the Athletic Department strongly believes in the responsibility and accountability of student-athletes and recognizes their often heightened visibility and representation of the institution. Reports of sexual misconduct, as defined in the university's policy Preventing and Addressing Sexual Misconduct, will be investigated by the Office of Title IX and/or the Student Conduct and Community Standards Office and dealt with in a manner consistent with any other policy violations or student-athlete misconduct, as warranted. Should you have any questions regarding the university's sexual misconduct policy, or would like to refer a matter or file a complaint, please contact Andrea Seiss, University Title IX Coordinator at andrea.seiss@temple.edu.
Intercollegiate Athletics Student-Athlete Transgender Participation Policy
Temple University Department of Athletics is committed to safety, fairness and respect for all participants. Diversity and inclusion of our student athletes are essential to the fulfillment of our mission. Intercollegiate athletics provides an opportunity for students to compete with and against others who come from a variety of backgrounds, but who all share the common goal of achieving athletic excellence.
Temple University Department of Athletics adheres to the regulations set forth by the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) regarding transgender student-athlete participation in varsity competition. Accordingly all transgender student athletes on varsity teams are subject to the criteria outlined by the NCAA, the national governing body for their particular sport, or the sport's international federation guidance.

Temple Athletics Fan Code of Conduct
The Temple Athletic Department is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all fans, in the workplace or its programs or events. Staff members will proactively intervene to support an environment where our fans can enjoy the event experience free from the following behaviors:Â
·       Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.Â
·       Abusive, foul or disruptive language and obscene gesturesÂ
·       Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or other substance useÂ
·       Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gesturesÂ
·       Throwing objects of any kindÂ
·       Sitting in a location other than the fans ticketed seatÂ
·       Displays of affection not appropriate in a public settingÂ
·       Obscene or indecent clothingÂ
·       Any disruption to the progress of the event by fans actionsÂ
·       Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fansÂ
·       Failing to follow instruction of stadium personnelÂ
·       Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of such language or gestures concerning a person's race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability,
age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.Â
·       Failure to comply with Stadium COVID-19 Policies and Protocols, including policies requiring masks and requirements to maintain social distancing.Â
·       Any behavior which otherwise interferes with other fans' enjoyment of the gameÂ
Each fan should hold his or her ticket and be ready to display it to event staff to verify their seat location (if applicable). Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in the Guest being ejected, arrested by police or having his/her tickets revoked. All Season Ticket Members are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their Guests and/or persons using their tickets.Â
