Crew Announces 2022 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA -- After a competitive fall season, Temple men's crew head coach Brian Perkins announced the team's schedule for a highly anticipated return to action. The Owls will kick of the spring season on the Schuylkill River where they will scrimmage Rutgers on Saturday, March 19.

The Owls will be on the road, traveling to Princeton on Saturday, March 26 to scrimmage the Tigers. The Cherry and White will return home on the Schuylkill River with the annual Murphy Cup Regatta, Temple's signature event, on Saturday, April 2.Â

The following weekend, the Owls will make a west coast trip to Mission Bay in San Diego, Calif. to compete in the San Diego Match Racing on April 16. Temple will then take the road again competing in the Healy Cup on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, NJ on Saturday, April 23.Â

The Cherry and White will defend the Bergen Cup on Saturday, April 30. The Bergen Cup will take place on the Owls' home course, the Schuylkill River.Â

To open the month of May, the Cherry and White welcomes Lehigh on May 7. The Owls will be back on the Schuylkill the following weekend for the prestigious Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta. Races will run Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14.Â

Following the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta, the team welcomes Marist on Saturday, May 21.Â

The IRA National Championships will wrap up the 2022 season, with the event being held in Mercer, N.J. on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.
