Men's Crew Earns Two Medals at Head of the Schuylkill
10.29.22 | Men's Crew
PHILADELPHIA — Temple Men's Crew picked up two medals in its last competitive race of the fall season, earning a gold and a bronze at the 2022 Head of the Schuylkill Saturday. The College Freshmen/Novice Four easily won gold with the Club Championship Eight taking home the bronze medal.
Quotable: Head Coach Brian Perkins
> "We definitely wanted some better results in some of these events. But this year's Temple Crew continues to showcase its depth. We had a dominant win in the Freshmen 4. The Freshmen 8 and 3rd Varsity Eight got fifth and third in their respective events. Our top 8s placed fourth and fifth (and only .2 seconds separate our crews).
More importantly, we go into intrasquad racing and a crucial winter knowing where our threats and opportunities are."
