PHILADELPHIA — Temple Women's Rowing ended its competitive fall season with three medals at the 2022 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta Saturday. The Owls won gold in the freshman four and took bronze medals in the championship four and championship eight races. In all, the Owls competed in four events with a total of eight boats in the Temple fleet.

Women's Freshman/Novice Four
>Temple won the event with its lone boat in the 22-entry field winning by 15 seconds with a time of 14:54.899.
>Fordham (15:09.653) earned the silver medal with Monmouth (15:14.040) taking the bronze.

Women's Championship Four
>Temple had four entries compete in this tough field of 52 boats. The Owls "A" boat (14:09.359) earned a bronze medal, finishing behind Delaware (13.59.598) and Georgetown (14:02.527).
> Temple's "D" boat placed 11^th in a time of 14:45.035 with its "B" boat finishing 14^thin a time of 14:48.564. The Owls "C" boat placed 40^th, rowing 16:20.504.

Women's Club Eight
>Temple entered two eights in this race with its "A" boat placing fourth (13:15.715), less than 0.3 seconds behind third place Delaware (13:15.548).
> The Owls other boat placed 20^th in the 46-entry field in a time of 13:58.441.

Women's Champ Eight
> The Owls top boat earned a bronze medal, finishing behind Drexel and Georgetown in a time of 12:46.812.
