Dr. Jeremy Jordan Appointed to NCAA Legislative Committee

PHILADELPHIA – Faculty Athletics Representative and Senior Associate Dean and Professor of the Sport Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dr. Jeremy Jordan has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Legislative Committee.
The Legislative Committee works in collaboration with the Division I Council to make recommendations regarding the merits of proposals, provide feedback to autonomy conferences regarding the impact of autonomy proposals, communicate positions to sponsors, and coordinate legislative discussions at the NCAA Convention.
As a member of the NCAA Division I Legislative Committee, Dr. Jordan will work closely with a multitude of other Division I committees organized by the NCAA, including the Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee, the Legislative Review Committee, the Legislative Review and Interpretations Committee and the Committee on Legislative Relief.
The Legislative Committee is comprised of four council members, 14 non-council members and one Student-Athlete Advisory Committee member. Jordan's appointment will remain active until June 30, 2025.
